What exactly is a lean-to? A lean-to is a structure that “leans” on another structure for stability. When added to pole buildings and barn dominium’s, lean-tos, also known as lean-to roofs, allow an almost limitless number of uses. It is entirely up to you to determine the size of the lean-to shed. Smaller lean-to sheds are 4 by 8 feet (1.2 m 2.4 m), whereas bigger lean-to sheds are 12 by 16 feet (3.7 m 4.9 m).
